On October 15, 1925 Club América Toluca F.C. became the champions of Mexico after defeating Club Deportivo Toluca 2-1 in a final match played at the Estadio Nemesio Díaz in Toluca. This victory was América’s fourth Primera División championship and it marked the end of a long road that had seen them win four championships between 1910 and 1924.
